Dr. Aneel Ursani is an experienced psychiatrist and entrepreneur on a mission to make a meaningful difference in patient outcomes amidst a mental health crisis. He is at the forefront of innovation and cutting edge technology with a focus on improving access to care, and delivering high quality measurement based care at scale. He has 46 state licenses and loves working with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants eager to start their practices and make a positive difference in their communities. Dr. Ursani earned his dual bachelor’s degree from University of California, Berkeley in Cell Biology and Psychology before he completed medical school at St. George’s University and psychiatry residency training at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He is currently working on his executive MBA at UC Berkeley. He has served as a clinical advisor to several different mental health start ups, as well as engaged in physician leadership roles at numerous companies including Cerebral, Lifestance, Amwell, Klinic, and Revive Telehealth. He has developed clinical quality programs through cross-collaborative efforts with engineering, product, and data scientists, and has led hundreds of providers in delivering high quality evidence based care. He has a particular focus on treatment resistant and high risk patient populations.
